Day Four: August 3rd

We woke up and had breakfast. A couple of activities (hoola hoop pass, friendly competition, helium hoop). We attended a workshop on forgiveness and the Sunday Christian service in the chapel. Kristin, Elizabeth, and Madeline sang hymns and George, Angela and Corrine read passages from the Bible in French, English and Arabic. The whole camp attended the service. After that we had lunch and went canoeing in the Connecticut River and jumped off a rock into the water. We came back and then we played kickball and hanged out. We had a lovely Mexican fiesta.

AND THEN… we watched a very intense documentary about forgiveness (“The Heart of Jenin”). After some emotions, we pushed on and broke up into three groups based on nationality. We were faced with the challenge of naming areas where we need forgiveness.10547571_744941275562499_4351621661784552049_n
