We’re back with even more exciting news from Jerusalem! Last Thursday, for the first time at Kids4Peace Jerusalem we held a meeting for a group of kids who will be attending summer camp in Israel! We can’t be more excited and proud to offer the opportunity of camp to more youth from the local community. For this group of first year youth, the existence of an Israeli summer camp means they too get to be involved with Kids4Peace’s programming.

A new group of Kids4Peace youth!

All of the youth and their parents were very happy to finally be meeting and beginning their journey with Kids4Peace. The kids played a number of both educational and fun games while their parents enjoyed a meeting of their own. The camp will take place at Kibbutz Ketura in southern Israel this August and everyone is anxiously awaiting it’s arrival. Holding a summer camp in Israel is a great step for the Kids4Peace community in Israel as it gives us the ability to expand our programming and operate in our own backyard. We can’t wait to see what this amazing group of kids does!

Before the meeting ended, the youth chose a name for their group, All4Peace, and even drew themselves a logo representing all three faith groups. The next meeting will take place within the walls of the Old City, a group of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian youth exploring their city, together.
