As always, there is plenty going on here at Kids4Peace Jerusalem and the last couple of weeks were no exception! Rebecca and Mohammad are back from the European Union, youth are flying to America at the end of the month and just yesterday Kids4Peace youth spent the day volunteering at the Arab Jewish Community Center in Jaffa.
Our youth led an activity with local first grade students from the Ahva School. The day included face-painting, art projects, sports and even pizza making. The students had a great time with the Kids4Peace group and we’re hoping they were inspired to become future Kids4Peace youth! We really enjoyed seeing our Kids4Peace 7th graders give back to their community and we’re excited to see what they continue doing.
Overall, it was a fantastic day with a great group of kids. It’s always rewarding for us to see our youth in the community, volunteering and serving as ambassadors for Kids4Peace. In the last week alone we’ve had youth visit the Jerusalem Bird Observatory, enjoy an evening of bowling and volunteer within the community. We think some pretty great things are happening over here in Jerusalem!
