Last weekend, Kids4Peace Jerusalem held our first annual Staff Picnic to thank the staff for their hard work and dedication to the organization. We had a great day, filled with families and food, celebrating all of Kids4Peace’s accomplishments.

It was amazing to see the greater impact that Kids4Peace is having on the Jerusalem community through the staff members that were present with their spouses, children and friends. We even met the youngest members of the Kids4peace family!

In very exciting news, Rebecca and Mohammad, Kids4Peace Jerusalem Co-Directors, are in Brussels this week presenting the interfaith work that Kids4Peace is doing in front of the European Union. In Brussels, Kids4Peace was hosted by the European Friends of Israel, check out what they are doing! We are incredibly honored and proud to have this opportunity and of course thrilled to spread the message of Kids4Peace.

In their time in Brussels, Rebecca and Mohammad have been meeting with various organizations and representatives of different faith groups. Including members of the Masorti community and the Reverend Dr. Mark Barwick of All Saints Episcopal church in Waterloo. In addition, they have met with multiple Members of European Parliament including the representatives from Slovakia, Poland, Finland and Latvia.

We are eager to hear stories from Rebecca and Mohammad when they return to the office. You will have to keep reading to see how it all went!
