Hello from Kids4Peace Jerusalem!
Despite the rainy and cold weather that has been stuck over Jerusalem recently, the mood at Kids4Peace has been upbeat and positive! We’ve welcomed two new groups of 6th graders to the program who will attend summer camp in Atlanta and Boston this July. There are a lot of exciting things happening that we can’t wait to share with you!
Last Friday the Anglican International School in Jerusalem held a community service event and fundraiser benefitting Kids4Peace. Students at the school took an active role in organizing and setting up for the morning and did an amazing job! After learning a little bit more about the founder of Kids4Peace, Dr. Henry Carse, the highlight of the event was the Master Chef competition with chefs from around the city and Kids4Peace community. Each chef had 15 minutes to prepare a dish with help from students at the school and volunteers from the audience. We had a great day filled with delicious food, fabulous company, and Kids4Peace! We are grateful to the Anglican International School for hosting the event and look forward to continuing our collaboration with them.
